Dog Licensing

Maine State law requires all dogs over 6 months of age to be licensed on or before January 31st of each year.  A $25.00 late fee will be imposed after that date.  Licensing can be done at the town office or online

To license your pet, you must have an up-to-date certificate of rabies vaccination from your veterinarian.  If you dog has been neutered or spayed, we will need documention of that also.

The current dog licensing fees are $6.00 for spayed or neutered dogs and $11.00 for unaltered male or female dogs. Kennel licenses are $42.00 and allow up to 10 dogs per license.
